I’ve already expressed my love for airbnb, so it should come as no surprise that I’m excited about a new startup that presented today Disrupt NY called EatWith. EatWith gives you the opportunity to eat with a local in their home, giving you the opportunity to connect with local people and enjoy a home cooked meal (much better than my go-to pasta with tomato sauce made with questionable hostel dishes!). Can’t wait to try this!
ROAM IS WHERE THE HEART IS 
I only stumbled upon AirBnB this week and while it’s not popular in New Zealand, it’s very exciting to see that it is popular elsewhere. EatWith sounds like a great way for foodies in unfamiliar places to meet other foodies. It reminds me of underground dining but with a whole directory of pop-up “restaurants”.
