I’ve already expressed my love for airbnb, so it should come as no surprise that I’m excited about a new startup that presented today Disrupt NY called EatWith. EatWith gives you the opportunity to eat with a local in their home, giving you the opportunity to connect with local people and enjoy a home cooked meal (much better than my go-to pasta with tomato sauce made with questionable hostel dishes!). Can’t wait to try this!
Though it’s technically my third time visiting the city of light, this is the first time I’ve felt like I’m truly experiencing the culture of the city. Maybe it’s because I’ve seen all of the major touristy sights and this time can just be, or maybe it’s because we’re renting an apartment as opposed to hostelling, but one day in and I’m already noticing a difference.
Today’s pic is a little collage of some of the great stuff I saw today: our super cute airbnb apartment in Le Marais, a local resto we passed while exploring the city (that to me is exactly what a restaurant in Paris should look like) and part of a window display from an adorable shop where I bought an equally adorable ring.
